Method books teach the notes. These bring back the joy.

If you're a piano teacher hunting for something to fill the gap between graded exams, or a parent watching your kid's motivation fade into scales and drills β€” this is the resource you've been improvising without. Blues, ragtime, jigs, bossa novas, and duets your students will actually want to play again.

"Your Piano Needs a Tune is a sparkling collection of fun, accessible and engaging piano pieces... a rich and invaluable resource for teachers and students alike which facilitate serious musical results whilst providing loads of fun." β€” Cathy Kerr, from the Foreword

Tracy Burjan

Tracy graduated from the Conservatorium High School in piano, clarinet and composition, and has taught in the public school system for over 20 years β€” creating her own programs, now used in the Jellybeans in Schools Music Program. She leads the 150-member community orchestra Symphonia Jubilate, and over the years has written piece after piece for her own students to play between exams. This series is all of them, together at last β€” illustrated by her friend and collaborator Jonathan Dean.
